ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Hobbs hasn’t played in the Pit in six years, but the Eagles looked right at home on Wednesday evening. In its quarterfinal match against Cleveland, Hobbs won 66-53.
Hobbs was able to use its size as a major advantage against the Storm. The Eagles won the rebounding battle 41-30 and scored 22 more points in the paint. The team also racked up 8 blocks.
Abraham Pena led all scorers with 22 points. Jairus Turrubiates had a double-double with 14 points and a game-high 14 rebounds.

Hobbs will now play Sandia in the semi-finals on Thursday. That game will tipoff from the Pit at 4:45.
