Often times when a head coach departs from a program, he leaves behind a bare cupboard of talent. Not so with Nick Saban. When the Crimson Tide legendary coach hung them up in January, he left behind a plethora of skilled players including the nation’s No. 2 recruiting class. Among them are two starters, WR Ryan Williams and DB Zabien Brown.
Three games into the season, a picture of which freshmen might redshirt is starting to take shape. In the season opener against Western Kentucky, almost every scholarshipped player participated.
