It has been a very soggy start to our Friday morning. Storms rolled through the area producing drenching downpours in parts of central Indiana. The storms have greatly weakened and will be moving out of the area late this morning. There will be a lot of dry time this afternoon but a few additional spotty showers or thunderstorms will remain possible this afternoon and evening.
It will be a warm, humid day with high temperatures rising to the mid and upper 80s. Skies will turn brighter into the afternoon and the UV Index is higher today. Sunburn can occur within 30 minutes without any protection on your skin.
A few passing showers will be possible over the weekend but most of the day will be dry both Saturday and Sunday. Temperatures won’t be as warm and we won’t be as humid but we stay on the muggy side for the next couple of days.
We get back to more of a September-like feel early next week with another push of drier air. Humidity will drop back down to more comfortable levels and high temperatures will only rise into the upper 70s.
