ST. BERNARD PARISH, La. (WGNO) — Troopers with the Louisiana State Police are investigating after a 13-year-old was killed and another was injured in a crash in St. Bernard Parish on Friday, March 14.
The LSP reported the crash happened on Louisiana 300 near Louisiana 39 around 10:20 p.m.
LSP officials said an initial investigation shows 13-year-old Joshua Bordelon and an unidentified juvenile were riding a bicycle in the center of the westbound lane while a GMC was driving west on Louisiana 300. The GMC then reportedly hit the bicycle.
