Those pesky clouds blocked our view of the total lunar eclipse, but Friday was a beautiful and pleasant day. More clouds and areas of fog are expected again overnight. We won’t see much sunshine this weekend, but most of the time it will dry during the daylight hours on Saturday and Sunday with widely scattered sprinkles/drizzle. So we are looking dry for the Greater New Haven St. Patrick’s Day with temperatures in the 50s, but it’ll also be windy with gusts of 40 mph and temperatures falling into the 40s by the end of the parade! It gets stormy Sunday night with locally heavy rain, thunderstorms, local flooding, and briefly strong winds with scattered power outages!!! Steady rain is likely into Monday morning with improving weather Saint Patrick’s Day afternoon, however, if a wave of low-pressure forms along the cold front, rain will last into the afternoon for the Eastern Half of Connecticut. Tuesday and Wednesday look and feel great with highs in the 50s and 60s!!

Tonight: More clouds with areas of fog developing. Lows in the upper 30s.
Saturday: Rather cloudy. A few sprinkles/drizzle. Highs in the low to mid 50s.

Sunday: Cloudy with a couple passing showers early, but dry for most of the day. Windy, highs in the upper 50s to mid 60s. Rain overnight.

Monday (St. Patrick’s Day): Morning rain, then drying out. Some breaks of sun with highs in the mid 50s.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny and delightful. Highs in the upper 50s to low 60s inland. Cooler shore.

Wednesday: Beautiful! Lots of sunshine with highs in the low to mid 60s.
Thursday: Increasing clouds. Highs in the mid 50s to near 60°. Rain overnight.
