LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) – The third suspect wanted in connection to the January 19 homicide on Fairmont Court is now in custody.
According to the Lexington Police Department, 22-year-old Jeffrey Ollie has been arrested and is currently being held at the Fayette County Detention Center. He is charged with murder (complicity) and tampering with physical evidence in the death of Daievyone Elliott.
Ollie was previously identified as a suspect earlier this week when police issued a public request for help locating him. At the time, authorities warned that Ollie should be considered armed and dangerous.
The Fairmont Court homicide happened on January 19, when officers responded to a shooting in the 2700 block of Fairmont Court around 12:11 p.m. They found Daievyone Elliott suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators quickly identified multiple suspects. Prior to Ollie’s arrest, police had already taken 21-year-old Brooklyn Trigg and 22-year-old Darrion Saliford into custody in connection to the shooting.
