ST. LOUIS – Our high temperature Thursday was 34 F, but that was just after midnight. We then dropped to 17 F by 7 a.m. and only made it back to around 26 F.
That cold airmass is still present Friday morning, but with winds swinging to the southwest, we have a warm-up on tap. We can expect highs in the mid to upper 30s on Friday, accompanied by plenty of sunshine.
There will be clear skies on Friday night, leading to wake-up temperatures in the upper 20s on Saturday. We expect sunny weather on Saturday, with temperatures rising to 50 F. We’ll push close to 60 F on Sunday as clouds increase.
Our next rain chance moves from Sunday night into Monday. Right now, rain looks light and focused mostly south and southeast of metro St. Louis. We’ll keep tracking it. With mild temperatures, this would be all rain.
Still milder Monday before colder temperatures return. Could see some light rain or snow flurries Tuesday morning as the colder air arrives.
