Lincoln Transportation and Utilities (LTU) today announced that South Street between 55th and 56th streets will be closed from 8 a.m. Wednesday, December 4 to 5 p.m. Thursday, December 5 for Lincoln Electric System utility work.
The recommended detour is 48th Street to Normal Boulevard.
Travelers are encouraged to seek an alternate route and exercise caution around this closure. LTU appreciates the public’s patience during this closure and reminds residents that project dates are subject to change due to weather and unforeseen circumstances.
