Loudoun County Treasurer Henry C. Eickelberg reminds taxpayers that the deadline for payment of the second-half real Property taxes is Thursday, December 5, 2024.
Note: Payments received or postmarked after December 5, 2024, will incur a 10% penalty and interest. Any such penalty, when assessed, will become part of the tax with interest accruing on both the tax and penalty at a rate of 10% annually. Taxpayers who are having financial difficulties should contact the Treasurer’s Collections Team at 703-771-5656.
Payment Options and Treasurer’s Office Locations
There are several payment options. For safety and convenience, taxpayers are encouraged to make payments online.
- Online: loudounportal.com/taxes
- Payments can be made using electronic check (eCheck), VISA, MasterCard, American Express or Discover. Please note that there is a convenience fee added to credit card transactions. There is no fee for eCheck.
- Telephone: 1-800-269-5971 may be called 24 hours a day. During regular business hours, call 703-777-0280. Have your account number and credit card number ready.
- By Mail: County of Loudoun, P.O. Box 1000, Leesburg, Virginia 20177-1000
- In Person: Treasurer’s Office Locations:
- 1 Harrison Street, S.E., First Floor, Leesburg
- 46000 Center Oak Plaza, First Floor, Sterling
- A 24-hour drop box is located outside the Leesburg and Sterling offices. All check payments should be made payable to “County of Loudoun.”

The office’s regular business hours are 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
