For his next term, Congressman Barry Moore will have a newly drawn district with a new district number (CD1 rather than CD2). He will also have freshly promoted leadership staff and a new scheduler in his Washington, D.C. office. Moore announced today that four longtime aides have been promoted and a new scheduler has been hired.

Madison Green-Gentile, a two-time University of Alabama alumna and former staffer in President Donald J. Trump’s first Administration, has been promoted to Chief of Staff after serving as Deputy Chief of Staff and Communications Director for Congressman Barry Moore. According to her LinkedIn account, Green-Gentile has been on Capitol Hill for almost four years, following eight months working in the office of Presidential Correspondence..
Marshall Macheledt will continue to lead Congressman Barry Moore’s legislative team, having previously served as a senior legislative assistant for Rep. Jim Jordan of Ohio, the Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, on which Rep. Moore serves. According to his LinkedIn account Marcheledt has been working on Capitol Hill for almost six and a half years. He is currently working towards a master’s degree from Hillsdale College and received a BA from North Carolina State.
In his new role, Macheledt’s responsibilities will encompass crime and law enforcement, election security, FEMA, oversight, and Second Amendment issues. Additionally, he will serve as Deputy Chief of Staff.
Emery Washington, fresh off assisting the 2024 Trump for President campaign as the Black Media Affairs Coordinator, will take on the role of Communications Director. She previously worked as Moore’s Digital Director and Press Secretary. According to Washington’s LinkedIn page she has worked on Capitol Hill for over a year and a half. Before joining Moore’s office, Washington worked as the chief of staff for Icon Exotics, a luxury car dealership based out of Houston, Texas. She graduated from Texas Tech University, where she received both her undergraduate and master’s degrees.
Taylor Keel, a native of Slocomb, Alabama, has been promoted to Legislative Assistant after serving as a Legislative Aide, Constituent Correspondent and Staff Assistant for Moore. In her new role, Keel will focus on Agriculture, Animal Welfare, Broadband, Environment, Food, and Natural Resources. According to her LinkedIn profile, she has worked on Capitol Hill for two years. She is a graduate of Auburn University, where she worked while pursuing her degree.
Brittany Young, a Texas native and former staff and press assistant for Rep. Bob Good, former Chairman of the House Freedom Caucus, has joined Team Moore as scheduler. According to her LinkedIn she has worked on Capitol Hill for over a year. She is currently pursuing her master’s degree from Hillsdale University and is a graduate of Texas A&M.
