Victim of fatal pedestrian crash in Adams identified

ADAMS, N.Y. (NEWS10) — The identity of the pedestrian struck and killed by a car in Adams on Sunday has been announced by the Berkshire County District Attorney’s Office (BCDAO). Michael Demarsico, 63, of North Adams, died from his injuries while being transported to Berkshire Medical Center.

A car collided with Demarsico while he was crossing a four-lane road near the border of Adams and North Adams on November 17. Impairment is not believed to be a factor in the crash, the BCDAO reported. The investigation remains ongoing.
