FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) — The Red Kettle Kickoff Breakfast on Wednesday marks the beginning of another fundraising season for The Salvation Army of Allen County.
According to the event posting on The Salvation Army’s website, proceeds from this breakfast goes towards presents for children in need as well as the organization’s year-long social service programs.
Along with donations, The Salvation Army is looking for bell ringers to man Red Kettle locations at local storefronts.
The breakfast is hosted at The Salvation Army of Allen County, located on 2901 N. Clinton St., starting at 8 a.m.
