LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) – We are tracking rain and a few storms arriving for your Wednesday. You won’t want to forget the rain jacket and umbrella today! The heaviest of the rain will be across central and northern Kentucky. The highest chance of the rain will be through the early afternoon, before becoming more isolated by the late afternoon and evening. Southern and southeastern Kentucky will stay dry early before showers move in during the second half of the day. Tonight will start with a shower chance, with rain chances more likely by Thursday morning.
Thursday will start off with some rain. Be prepared for wet and damp roads, particularly in central Kentucky. The rain chance will slowly be diminishing and moving from north to south through the day. Lexington will likely start the day with some rain before trying to try out by the afternoon. Temperatures will be split on Thursday as well, with cooler temperatures to the north and slightly warmer conditions to the south.
Friday now looks dry throughout the entire day. Temperatures will be pleasant on Friday as well, into the low-to-mid 60s. Rain chances will return by the weekend. Saturday will start off dry but we will see rain and storm chances increasing late Saturday into Sunday.
