FCM Travel’s FCM Consulting has named former Tripbam executive Jason Kramer as its air category lead, the division announced.
In the role, Kramer will lead air category management and sourcing resources at FCM Consulting as well as advancement of its product portfolio, such as its Air Contracting IQ tool, according to FCM Consulting. He is taking the position at what he said is “a fascinating time for managed air travel.”
“It’s undergoing a revolution,” Kramer said in a statement. “It was once simply about savings on fares via [global distribution systems] and performing to targets, but now the landscape of value can be defined in endless ways, and we help our clients meet that need through data and actionable analytics.”
Kramer most recently was Tripbam’s VP of air solutions. Before that, he led U.S. sales for data analytics specialist PredictX and served as director of client relationship management at BCD Travel’s consulting arm Advito. In addition, he serves on the Global Business Travel Association’s Aviation Committee.
