(KRON) — A GoFundMe has been set up for 16-year-old Stephanie Anahi, who was killed in a car crash in Richmond on Monday.
The fundraiser has raised $4,320 out of its $18,000 goal to help cover funeral costs and medical expenses for her 11-year-old sister, who remains in critical condition.
The crash occurred around 5:17 a.m. on Oct. 14 near the 600 block of Canal Boulevard. The vehicle, a stolen Infiniti G35 coupe, was speeding in the northbound lanes before hitting two trees and a pole, according to the Richmond Police Department (RPD). Stephanie, her sister, and two other minors were in the car at the time.
After the crash, two 15-year-old male occupants fled the scene but were later found, confirmed RPD.
No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
