NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Officers with the New Orleans Police Department are investigating a shooting that left one person dead in the St. Roch neighborhood on Monday, Oct. 14.
The NOPD reported that officers responded to the 2500 block of North Miro Street around 7 p.m., where they found a person who had been shot.
NOPD officials said the victim was pronounced dead at the scene by EMS.
