Thank goodness for agricultural tourism in Kansas. Pumpkin patches, corn mazes, and fun farms are all enjoyed outdoors, so go have some fall fun in 2024!
Every year, we see lovely family-owned farms near Wichita that offer pumpkin patches, corn mazes, and other fall fun for families. These are some of the best pumpkin patches in Kansas, and every year, they seem to get even better. I’ve included contact information for each place and put them all on a handy map farther down on this page.

Pumpkin Patches near Wichita 2024:
Here’s a list of all the farms we know of within an hour or so of Wichita where you can pick pumpkins, have a hayride, see (and pet!) some farm animals close-up, or find your way through a maze of corn. (Do you know of a great family farm I’ve missed? Please let me know in the comments section!)
Applejack Pumpkin Patch
Location: 10007 SW Indianola Rd, Augusta, KS 67010, (316) 733-8909 (East Wichita)
Dates: Sept. 28 – October 27, 2024
Times:
- Wednesdays to Fridays 9 a.m.–3 p.m.
- Saturdays 10 a.m.–6 p.m.
- Sundays noon–6 p.m.
- Closed on Mondays & Tuesdays
Applejack Pumpkin Patch has a pumpkin patch, play area, petting zoo, hayride, corn maze, zip line, big slide, and more! Most all activities at Applejack are included in admission cost with the exception of pumpkins and a few weekend-only activities. The pumpkin cannon, paintball, gallery, and adult pedal cars are only available on the weekend. No outside food, no pets permitted.
Cost:
- Admission is $12 if you purchase online or $14 at the Gate. Kids 2 and under are Free
- Pumpkins are extra.
- Military and seniors get a discount at the door with ID
Cedar Creek Farm & Pumpkin Patch
Location: 6100 N. 119th St. W., Maize, KS 67101 ( Northwest of Wichita)
Dates: September 21 – October 31, 2024
Times:
- Tuesdays through Thursdays, 10 a.m.–3 p.m.
- Fridays through Sundays, 10 a.m.–7 p.m.
- Closed Mondays.
Cedar Creek Farm & Pumpkin Patch is one of the newer pumpkin patches in the Wichita area. It’s in Maize, at K-96 and 119th Street West. Several activities are included with admission, such as a kids zone, petting zoo, barrel train, a corn maze, and pony rides! Ticketed activities (for an additional fee) are horse-drawn carriage tours and the pumpkin slingshot. A community fire pit is available to rent for $45 for three hours. (Each participant must still pay admission.) No outside food or drink unless renting a fire pit.
Cost: $13 admission per person, free for kids 2 and younger
Cox Farm
Location: 6059 S. Seneca
Dates: September 30 – October 29, 2024
Times:
- Saturdays 10 am- 7 pm
- Sundays 1 – 6 pm
It’s that time of year to make memories and enjoy some time outside with your family and friends. You can go shop their fresh produce, a large selection of jar goods, local cheeses, meats, local honey and gifts. You’ll be pleasantly surprised at all your great finds.

- General Admission is $8
- All-inclusive admission Includes a hayride, corn maze, animal feed, inflatables, and more.
- $15 for ages 3-7 for all-inclusive admission
- $20 for ages 8 & Up for all-inclusive admission

Klausmeyer Farms Pumpkin Patch
Location: 8135 S. 119 St. West, Clearwater, KS 67026 (Roughly 24 minutes Southwest of Wichita)
Dates: September 21 – October 31, 2024
Times: 10 a.m.–7 p.m Everyday.
- Special Saturday Nights: October 12, 19, 26
- Open from 7-10 p.m., it includes activities such as paintball and night maze walks. For Saturday night admission, you must purchase an activity ticket.
Klausmeyer Farm offers cow milking demos, pick races, a you-pick pumpkin patch, giant jumping pillows, tons of unique, family-friendly activities, a 5-acre crop maze, gem mining, hay wagon rides, and even a selfie station with animals!
The farm also has haunted evening activities on Friday and Saturday nights that consist of a haunted house (the Barn of Fear) and night walks through the corn maze.

Marietta Farm
Location: 1600 E. US-54 Hwy., Andover, KS 67002 (Andover, East of Wichita)

- Mondays-Thursdays 10 a.m.-6 p.m
- Rides, games and concessions are NOT open.
- Fridays-Sundays, 9 a.m.-7 p.m.

Marietta Farm is a quant and crowd-free pumpkin patch experience! Tons of family-friendly activities include a haybale maze, live animals, a zipline, multiple playgrounds and tons of photo ops with their creative Haybale Barnyard. Pay-to-play activities include a train, pumpkin slingshot, carousel, bumper cars, and bungee bouncer. All pay-to-play activities are open on the weekend; during the weekdays only the playgrounds and maze are available.

- Monday – Thursday admission $10
- Friday – Sunday admission $14

P and M Pumpkin Ranch
Location: 311 16th Ave, Moundridge, KS 67107 (Roughly 50 min North of Wichita)

This place is fun! P and M Pumpkin Ranch is a Western-themed pick-your-own pumpkin patch located just 45 minutes north of Wichita on the northeast side of Hutchinson, Kansas. They have family-friendly activities like the double-barrel chute (underground slide!), pedal karts, pig races, big jumping pads, wagon rides, and even a candy cannon! Plus, there are community fire pits and many great photo ops for special fall moments and snack bins if you get hungry.
Cost:
- $15.49 but most activities are included in general admission.
- Pumpkins are priced separately.
Meadowlark Farm
Location: 11249 SW 160th St., Rose Hill, KS 67133 (East of Wichita)
Times: Wednesday – Sundays 10 am – 5 pm
Dates: During October 2024
As visitors cut their pumpkins from the vine in the field, it’s suggested they bring a knife or clippers for the thick stems, although knives are also available for rent. On Saturdays and Sundays, a tractor-trailer ride is offered to the patch, though guests can also walk and use a wagon if they prefer. The farm features picnic tables, a swing set, friendly goats, and restrooms for convenience. In the store, a variety of treats are available, including apple cider donuts, snacks, salsas, jams, fresh-pressed apple cider, slushies, and seven kinds of hard cider on tap.
Cost:
- $2.50 for everyone 13 and over to enter.
- Large pumpkins cost by weight per pound, small pumpkins are $4.00, and some specialty pumpkins are individually priced.
Sunny Side Pumpkin Patch
Location: 11500 S. Hopkins Road, Assaria, KS 67416 ( Roughly 1 hour North of Wichita)
Dates: September 28 – October 31, 2024
Times: Daily from 11 a.m.–7:30 p.m. Night maze groups by appointment.
Sunnyside Pumpkin Patch is a real home-grown pumpkin patch in a rural farm setting containing 8 acres of pumpkins to pick from, creative crop circle mazes, a children’s play area, farm animals, and unlimited hay rides Saturday and Sunday from noon–6 p.m.
Cost:
- Admission is $8 covers all of our Fall festival activities
- Children 3 and under are $1 per year of age
- Pumpkins are very reasonably priced, and the owners sell other produce in season as well.
Walters Pumpkin Patch
Location: 10001 NW U.S. Highway 77, Burns, Kansas 66840 (Roughly 30 min. Northeast of Wichita)
Dates: Sept 21 – November 1, 2024
Hours:
- 10 a.m.–7 p.m. Wednesdays through Saturdays
- Sundays 1–7 p.m
- Closed Mondays and Tuesdays.
Walters Pumpkin Patch is a large segmented property that has countless activities including a you-pick pumpkin patch, mazes, mega slide, kid-sized western village, train rides, carnival-style games, and lots and lots more, including a two-story, 960-square-foot tree house! Walters also has nighttime activities that are ticketed separately, including a Flashlight Maze and its famous Haunted Cannery tour (unsuitable for young children).
Cost: General admission includes most of the activities on the property but not all.

- Weekends (Sat & Sun) is $20.95
- Pumpkins are priced separately.
Pumpkin Pants Ranch
Location: 27799 115th Road, Arkansas City, KS
Hours: Fridays noon to 7 pm.; Saturdays 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Sundays noon to 7 p.m. during the season.
Cost: $25 season passes; $12 day passes
Okay, this is a new one to us but the name is hilarious! Opening day for this pumpkin patch in Ark City is Saturday, September 21, 2024. If you check it out, let us know what you think! Here’s where we found out about it on Facebook.

Kansas Maze at Gaeddert Farms
Kansas Maze will not host their corn maze and pumpkin patch any longer. After 20 years of great memories, they have decided it is time for a change and are focusing on their Sunflower festival.
Bergmann Corn Maze
The Bergmanns have retired. We’re thankful for all the years of fun they’ve provided for Wichita families!
