We could use a little rain with 42 out of the last 45 days DRY, and there’s little or no rain in the forecast through this first weekend of October!!
Note: Thursday is the 45th anniversary(October 3, 1979) of the F-4 Windsor Locks Tornado with 3 people killed and 500 injured. One of Connecticut’s most costly weather disasters with 200 million dollars in damage!
We are also watching the tropics and an area in the southern Gulf of Mexico for possible development this week into early next week.

Thursday: Partly to mostly sunny, pleasant. Highs in the low to mid-70s. Cooler at the shoreline.

Friday: Mostly sunny in the morning to mostly cloudy in the afternoon. Highs in the 70s. Cooler at the shoreline.

Saturday: Early shower, otherwise partly to mostly sunny and nice with highs 70-75

Sunday: Mostly sunny, pleasant with late-day clouds. Highs near 70.

Monday: Morning showers giving way to partial sunshine during the afternoon. Highs 65-70.
Tuesday: Partly sunny, windy & cooler with highs only in the 60s.
Wednesday: Scattered frost possible in the NE & NW hills early. Mostly sunny with highs in the 60s.
