SAN JOSE – A female bicyclist was injured in a hit-and-run crash Monday night in San Jose, police said.
The collision occurred in the area of North 1st Street and Interstate 880, according to the San Jose Police Department. As of 9:30 p.m., officers were still at the scene.
The bicyclist was taken to a hospital with injuries that were initially described as life-threatening. She was later stabilized and her injuries were downgraded to non-life-threatening.
Roads in the area were closed following the crash. Police advised motorists to use alternate routes.
Additional details about the collision were not immediately available Monday night.
