(FOX 5/KUSI) — A 4.6 magnitude earthquake shook Southern California on Friday morning near the Salton Sea.
According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake struck at 10:26 a.m. in the southern part of the lake, near the community of Calipatria, about 140 miles east of San Diego.
