1. BiteLines offers a taste of the city’s Beltline restaurants
🥑 Nicole Gustin grew up in Marietta and lived elsewhere for years before returning to Atlanta in 2011. She leased an apartment on the newly opened Eastside Beltline and observed the fresh energy the pedestrian trail was bringing to the city.
After going on a food tour while vacationing in Miami, Gustin was inspired to create BiteLines Atlanta Food Tours in 2018, but the actual launch was delayed until 2021 by the pandemic.
Since she started the Food and Street Art Tour, Gustin has added two more tours to the lineup: Barks and Bites Doggie Crawl and the Atlanta Pizza and Beer Crawl.

2. Modern-day alchemy with artist Ren Dillard
🎨 Ever since he was a child, Ren Dillard has been an artist. His first memory is of creating a piece of artwork on the cover of a phone book which his mother proudly hung up on the fridge before calling all her friends and relatives over to take a look. “I remember thinking to myself, ‘Wow, I’m an artist,’” Dillard recalled.
Dillard grew up in Savannah, GA, and attended Savannah State University where he majored in mass communications. After graduation, he found his way to working in radio, before eventually relocating to Philadelphia.
He came to Atlanta for reasons he could have never anticipated. In the years since he returned, he has been steadily working to get his name out there, network with fellow artists and gallerists, and continue pushing his art to evolve and grow along with him.
